Commuters, more exposed to disease-causing viruses
State weather bureau PAGASA warns the public to brace for more rains in the coming days.
That’s why a health expert is reminding commuters to be especially careful because they are more exposed to disease-causing viruses.
Dr. Gerald Belandres, a practitioner of general occupational medicine, said.
Grace Villamor, a frequent commuter, shared that she and her grade-school daughter got colds recently.
Siguro po [kaya kami sabay nagksakit] dahil palagi kaming magkasama at palagi kaming [lumalabas] at namamalengke” Villamor said.
Dr. Belandres meanwhile recommends washing hands regularly with an antibacterial soap to fight off disease-causing viruses.
